Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms govern the use of the Timberlog timber volume calculator app for Android and iOS and of the website timberlog.app, both operated by Timberlog (contact: info@timberlog.app). By installing the app or using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Timberlog is
Timberlog is a tool for measuring and recording timber: log and stack volumes according to published log rules and standards, priced tally sheets, exports, and the EUDR module for harvest records and the simplified due diligence declaration. It is intended for forest owners, loggers, sawmills, traders and other professionals, and may be used for commercial purposes in your own business.
2. Free features, Pro upgrade and payment
Measuring and calculating are free without time limit, including three photo measurements a month, entering EUDR permits, harvest records and the full preview of the EUDR declaration. The paid Pro upgrade removes ads and unlocks unlimited photo measurements as well as exporting and submitting the EUDR declaration. A free trial of 14 days may be offered.
Purchases are made through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Prices, taxes, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by the terms of the respective store; Timberlog does not process payments itself and has no access to your payment details.
Subscription prices may change. If the price of your subscription increases, we will notify you in the app at least 30 days before the new price takes effect, including the current price, the new price and the effective date. The new price applies from your first renewal on or after that date. If you do not agree with the change, you can cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings, and you will keep access until the end of your paid period. Reasons for price changes may include changes in product functionality, operating costs, taxes or market conditions.
3. EUDR module: no legal advice, no guarantee of compliance
The EUDR module helps you collect, store and export the data required for a due diligence declaration under Regulation (EU) 2023/1115. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee that you comply with the regulation. You submit the declaration yourself in the official EU information system and remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data entered, for the correct choice of customs codes and species, and for passing the reference number on to your buyers.
Rules, deadlines and national administrative practice may change. Timberlog keeps the module up to date to the best of its knowledge but cannot warrant that it reflects every change at every moment.
4. Calculations and results
Volumes, weights and prices are calculated from the values you enter and from the log rule or standard you select. Results are estimates whose accuracy depends on your measurements and on the chosen method. For contracts, invoices and official filings you are responsible for checking the results and, where required, for using the method prescribed by law or agreed with your counterparty.
5. Your data
Measurements, tally sheets, permits and EUDR records that you enter are yours. Exports (Excel, PDF, CSV, GeoJSON, text) are created on your request and shared through the channel you choose. How the app and the website handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Licence and acceptable use
Timberlog grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you control, for your own personal or business use. You may not copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, resell it or make it available to third parties as a service, remove notices, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app and the website are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Timberlog excludes all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or profit, or business interruption arising from the use or inability to use the app or the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when features, prices or legal requirements change. The current version is always available at timberlog.app; material changes will be announced in the app or on the website. Questions about these terms: info@timberlog.app.
